Hit The Trail with Charlie Daniel’s new Album “Night Hawk”

Charlie Daniels new album Night Hawk is the latest addition to an impressive 50+ year music career. Daniels began his career in 1953. He has won countless awards – Grammy’s, CCMA’s, GMA Dove’s, CMA’s, BMI’s, and ACM’s. No wonder he is the newest inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Daniels style is distinct. He has consistently produced music with a specific sound and style. Daniels music has attracted a fan base that has followed him throughout the years. He is true to himself and hasn’t changed who is he for the masses.

One thing you can anticipate on Daniels album Night Hawk is plenty of fiddle. Which happens to be the first instrument heard on track one, “Big Ball’s in Cowtown.” Need I remind you The Charlie Daniels Band owns the #1 fiddle song in country music – “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” Country music needs more fiddle and you’re going to get plenty on this album.

Influenced by cowboy stories, this album takes you on a musical journey. The lyrics are deep and each song tells a story. Daniels is a songwriting genius. He will have you yelling “Yippie Ki Yea” while “Running with the Crowd” down the “Old Chisolm Trail” right before “Nighthawk”, “Billy the Kid”, and “The (Ghost) Riders in the Sky” make you “Stay All Night.” This album tells stories about a cowboys way of life. The hard working cowboys, rather than the outlaw kind.

Charlie Daniels album is coming before an important milestone, his 80th birthday. On November 30th, 2016 Daniels is hosting the Charlie Daniels Band Volunteer Jam 2016 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Joining him are country music superstars – Luke Bryan, Kid Rock, Larry the Cable Guy, Travis Tritt, and Chris Stapleton. This event is coming mid-tour and bound to showcase a long history of solid country songs.

In the old country music world, Charlie Daniel’s new album would be gracing the top of the music charts. It’s rare to find an album with a rich blend of musical instruments, meaningful lyrics, and a genuine country sound. Take a listen to Night Hawk and you will appreciate the authenticity of this album. Available now on Charlie Daniels website.

I'm a desert dweller with a hint of twang. Writing about country music has given me the opportunity to do what I'm passionate about. I'm always searching for new artists and music. Meeting Justin Moore is #1 on my Country Bucket List. I live in Arizona, it's a dry heat.
