Joe Diffie & Colt Ford Rock Southern Maryland

On June 10, thousands of country fans flocked to Boyles Farm in southern Maryland for some country music and a good time. It was a smoking hot day with temperatures in the high 90s, but that didn’t stop wild and rowdy fans from grabbing a good spot by the stage.  Local band  Drivin’ Muzzy was first to rock the stage. A cover band, who plays some originals as well, who are highly sought after in the area. The band performed songs like “The Weekend” by Brantley Gilbert and Dustin Lynch’sSeein’ Red.” Their energy was massive and lead singer, Donald Quade, says he had a blast.

“We have opened for a few big acts before. The difference this time was that we were home and we met Colt before going on stage and he was just like us. He stands for everything we stand for and it was an honor opening for him and Joe. Colt stood up and introduced himself and shook our hands. He is a class act all around. I would love to have the opportunity to play with him again down the road.”

Hick-hop influencer and all around bad ass, Colt Ford has made his mark in the country music world. He is a motivation for anyone with a dream. Ford hit the stage with “Dynamite” and rolled straight into “Crank It Up.” Energy poured from Ford’s body like a flood. Drawing power from the crowd, Ford never backed down. Performing an array of back to back fan favorites such as “Back” and “High Life,” Colt Ford is highly entertaining and his set is mastered perfectly. A performance that celebrates being together instead of divided, he reaches for the stars with every track performed. He is respected in country music and the lack of radio plays only drives him harder. He is real and authentic. If you want to see what a real performer looks like, go see a Colt Ford show.

Joe Diffie has had twelve number-one hits and is a legendary name. Thomas Rhett’s version of “1994” made country fans everywhere remember what a great artist he is. Diffie started his set with “3rd Rock From The Sun” and was overly excited about the crowd participation. A stable stage presence with a vocally unique sound made for one incredible show. Although he performed all his fan favorites such as “John Deere Green” and “A Night To Remember,” he also has an amusing sense of humor that is extremely entertaining. A seasoned performer and artist, Diffie put together a flawless set with immaculate musicianship and raw vocals that you can only get at a Joe Diffie show.
