Single Review: Joe Nichols – Undone

Red Bow Records recording artist Joe Nichols has released his new sensuous and risqué single titled “Undone.” Written by Trevor Rosen, Josh Osborne and Ross Copperman and produced by Micky Jack Cones, it’s the perfect summer love song. “Undone” will be featured on Nichol’s forthcoming album due out later this year.

Nichols is known for his traditional country style and although “Undone” stays in the realm of what fans can expect from the four time Grammy nominee, it also has immense radio potential. A mid-tempo ditty that illuminates the baritone vocals that carry it through, “Undone” is clearly an apt choice for Nichols to sing. Lyrically it’s sultry and delicate with just enough substance musically to reel you in. Nichol’s paints a rather steamy picture with lyrics such as “Girl you know you’re gonna start a fire when you touch me like that” but then carries it out with some rather charming lyrics as well, “How easily you do something to me that just can’t be undone.”

There have been high expectations placed on Nichols’ new single which he has absolutely met. The track is fiery, yet easily likable. Between the melody, seductive lyrics and Nichols’ strong vocals “Undone” is sure to be the song of the summer.
