Crossroads Events at #CMAawards: @MirandaLambert & @Meghan_Trainor vs. @LittleBigTown & @ArianaGrande (Watch!)

If your mindset was anything like our team’s regarding the CMA Awards performances, you were likely scratching your head when you found out that Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande, two of Top 40 radio’s biggest superstars, would be hopping on stage in Nashville for the big show. If your mindset was anything like our team’s the night of the awards, you were still scratching your head, but couldn’t help tapping your foot, smiling, and nodding with approval when you realized that those performances were actually amazing.

On Wednesday night at Bridgestone Arena, Meghan Trainor joined Miranda Lambert (who took home four trophies that night) to perform Number 1 song “All About That Bass.” Ariana Grande became the fifth member of Group of the Year, Little Big Town, as the quintet performed Grande’s hit (originally with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj) “Bang Bang.” And we admit it, while we would have preferred seeing some of the Next Women of Country Music on the Music City stage, the house was brought down by these Crossroads moments.

With that being said, the Country Music #CMchat team can’t decide which performance was our favorite of the two. Was it the sassy stylings of Lambert and Trainor, ladies who sang about self image and the importance of women being comfortable in their own skin and shaking their non-size two booties? Or, was it Little Big Town and Grande, dressed in Transformer-like clothing, singing about a different kind of booty?

Watch both of these Crossroads events below and let us know, using our poll, which CMA Awards collaboration you liked better. Are you all about that bass or are you looking for a little bang bang in your life? Submit your vote below!
