Taylor Swift is still enjoying the success of her current album “Red” which has already gone multi-platinum, and she is showing no signs of slowing down as she tells Billboard that she has already began working on her next album. Fans could also expect to hear sooner than later.
“We’ve got a lot,” she tells Billboard. “We got a lot already. It’s crazy. There are probably seven or eight [songs] that I know I want on the record, so that’s really ahead of schedule for me.”
Taylor is known for throwing songs away right after the release of a new album because she doesn’t want her next album to sound like the previous ones. She says you can be expecting to hear a new sound.
“I’m just stoked because it’s already evolved into a new sound, and that’s all I wanted,” she explains. “I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it kind of happened naturally, so that’s all I could really ask for.”
Although there is no time table yet for the next album’s release, Taylor is still busy promoting the Red album on her worldwide tour. See her tour dates here.
