Put four Virginians and one Michigan native together, of which all have incredible songwriting talent and a performing style that is more than dialed in along with a drive to succeed that can’t be stopped, and what do you get? Old Dominion.
Collectively the band has been writing and fine-tuning their sound for the last 10 years. Over those years, the group has seen commercial songwriting success in having songs recorded by the likes of The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young and Craig Morgan. The five piece group; however, doesn’t want to stop there as they have plans on making Old Dominion a household name.
The band recently saw their single “Dirt On a Road” hit Sirius XM’s The Highway a few months ago which received great reviews and certainly made performing the song more incredible for the group than ever before.
“There’s nothing like playing a song you’ve written and watching the crowd sing the words back to you,” says lead singer Matthew Ramsey.
With a unique and fresh take on the country music sound, Old Dominion gives their listeners an enjoyable and very sing-a-long-able experience with every single song. Whether you’re in the mood for something slow or wanting to party, Old Dominion definitely has you covered, and let me tell you, they come highly recommended!
